You had a very detailed patient vignette and I like that you prompted us to think beyond what you had already presented to come up with our own ideas. You had a very smooth and engaging delivery style, and you did great signposting throughout about what topics you’d explore next. It was great how you revisited the patient at the end and walked us through the treatment process in depth. Furthermore, I liked that you reminded us that substance use in pregnancy is not something that should preclude someone from being treated with respect and dignity.

Great job Maka! I really learned a lot from your presentation as I have quite limited prior knowledge in the effects of substance use in pregnancy. This is for a sure a board topic and you need to go through all different substances, and you did it! In an organized and calm way. Excellent!

I really enjoyed the patient vignette in the introduction to your video. I liked the research study information that was provided. I think it was important to talk about nicotine and the connection with SIDS, which you explained very well. Good Job!

This was an excellent and thorough review! Like other's I appreciated that your presentation was very well organized and that your addressed the effects of various substances according to their prevalence in society.

Your affect and energy levels were great and your delivery was very clear. Your slides had a lot of information on them but were not cluttered - a very clean looking presentation. Great work!

I love how organized this felt; the learning objectives and outline slides were very specific and effective in orienting the audience. It also felt very logical to go in order from highest to lowest prevalence.

Your overall style of delivery was clear and easy to follow. You did an excellent job of sticking to your slides so that we were able to follow along, while not reading verbatim. This was effective in holding the audiences attention while still letting them follow along and understand where you were going next.

I loved the storytelling approach you used - it created an easy to follow and engaging flow throughout the presentation. It felt fresh and fun, especially when you asked us to pause the video and do some thinking before moving on. You did a great job enumerating points such as “these are the five points I want you to remember” and “these are the three reasons I'm thinking of this...” I found the overall scope of the presentation enjoyable to follow because of this style. You were clearly well prepared and organized. The topic has logical flow and touches on all of the key learning objectives that you set out for us from the beginning. Excellent assessment statement! I love that you consolidated the vignette into a problem representation format and mentioned prioritizing the patient centered mindset.
