Due to the absent availability of the robotic simulator residents will need to find time to work on the simulator in their free time. The robotic backpack is stored in a storage room near R1/R3 and OR 4. The document below will walk you through how to connect this.

Dr. Gubbels is happy to offer an after hour or weekend simulation session pending interest and resident coordination. Please review the curriculum document below. Our goal is to have residents ready to sit at the console and be able to perform a hysterectomy with guidance.

Please note: We are working with Intuitive and URMC to regain access to a new trainer but unfortunately this is unlikely prior to late 2021 or 2022.
