This week we will work with Pillar 3 of the Structures and Self Curriculum, examine health inequities in the Finger Lakes Region, and discuss specific portions of the policy paper written by the Black Women Birthing Justice collective.

 

The attached report from Common Ground Health is intended as a reference, and is not required reading.

 

The attached Executive Summary from BWBJ also doesn't require pre-reading in its entirety. We will be focusing on pages 11-15, which delineate recommendations for physicians, hospitals, and those engaged in medical education, these pages do merit a pre-peek.
